Did you have a bad experience or time with a Photographer/Model/MUA/HA and would like to share it with others so they don't make the same mistake! Do you have warning signs as well to inform others what to look for in case they end up in the same situation! Please list name and reason for putting them on this red flag list! 

                               These are Red Flags: 

 Anyone who: steals costumes or other people's property , makes anyone feel uncomfortable by statements or gestures, does things to photos that have concern without you being acknowledged(like bad photo shopping of model in misleading back grounds), anyone who is rude and slanders others names for their own gain, and anyone who is pushy about doing nudes or anything you don't want to do!

 These are people you must look out for so you in the process don't get hurt! People like this give bad names to the true people in this profession! It's people like this should not be on a great modeling site like this! FMN is a great site and we don't want to ruin it like other modeling site's!

I really enjoyed your response to this thread! I know of a recent photographer that I worked with who is going through this exact same thing and didn't want to come to the pirate event bc another photographer was rude and put him down! There is this so called competition between photographers as well as models that everyone has to be #1, we all love what we do and putting down someone else only makes you look bad! It's a way for them to feel better about getting to the top even though they may not realize who they are hurting in the process! I respect you for not mentioning a name Michael! We all want to make something of ourselves, but slandering other people isn't a way to get to where you want to be! Thanks Michael for your input!!!

since I'm first to speak out I do had an encounter of a bad photographer a long time ago.

  My encounter with this bad photographer was 2 years ago at a nightclub called The Kennedy's during a fashion show which I was invited by a friend who is modeling at the show before the show began I was walking around looking and check out the place until I encounter that one photographer who first introduce himself as "The 1# photographer of south east florida" (which doesn't make sense since the closest part of florida near that area is naples).

  He start out ok talking a little bit on photography and he even showed me his own work which looks like he got these photos out of a magazine since most of them are with flash on camera by appearence.

Now at first I thought he was okey but after the fashion show over and when I see my friend after the show she was then end up talking to that photographer which I over heard him talking when he slander my name and disrepeat my reputation as a photographer right in front of me.

  Any photographer that dare to disrepeat a photographer reputation and profession just to gain some contacts with some models is a big example of a bad photographer.

I'm glad that it was the first and last time I ever seen his face in tampa.

so for every photographer out there the leason to my story is to never ever EVER slander a photographer's name and disrespect a photographer profession for your own gain, because doing so will make you look like a jackass in front of a photographer.

even thou I tell you my story about a bad photographer, out of respect to my fellow photographer (dispite his rudness) I do not mention his name because if I do that then I'm would be no different then him.

 

so be respectful to your fellow photographers and do not slander their name.
