ABOUT Florida Modeling Network:

      Florida Modeling Network was Founded by XZanthia in 1998. The website itself has over 2000 active local members. It is free to join, post events, add friends, add photos and videos, post comments on others pages or content and you can even fully customize the look of your page by changing the top banner and background images as well as the format that your page is viewed. The social Network grew around the monthly themed portfolio building shoots that she put on. Our shoots are 6 hours long, noon-6pm and occur all over Tampa, Orlando, Jacksonville, Daytona, St Pete. Miami and other cities.      The second Saturday of each month is a simple themed portfolio building event such as Pin Up, Glamor or Burlesque. great to meet others in the business, get great photos and become comfortable with others to work with them outside our events for TFP or paid shoots. Female models are free for this event and photographers are $43 in advance. Male models are always encouraged to attend all our events. These shoots normally have about 30 models and 20 photographers.      The forth Saturday of each month is our Artistic Themed Shoot such as Steam Punk, Sci Fir Punk. Both events have Hair, Makeup, Costumes and body painters, however this one is based around the art of the model and photographer combined. With 5-10 models for every photographer this shoot is all about 1 on 1 shooting and personalized images. Female models are $13 and photographers $103 in advance. These shoots normally have about 50 models and 10 photographers.      Models can get the images from the photographers several ways. Bring a laptop or thumb drive to the shoot, get the photographers contact info to get CD, Get CD at front gate of next event if photographer left one, Look on the Photos from Last Events Page and email the Photographer to see more. We have carpool set up on most large cities around Florida with phone numbers of people that will drive others to shoots. Our network is about working together, building a great portfolio and getting paid gigs. The events and Shoots are for all ages and types of people, Some themes more kid friendly then others. Familys and Bands may also attend to get photos. It can be for fun to get some great photos or to build a profesional portfolio for seeking paid gigs and magazene work.  We train first time models and photographers in order to get the best images for both parties possable.
